Privacy Policy

BuyLow AI ("BuyLow AI") is operated by K-One Group LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("K-One Group", "we"). BuyLow AI helps you see what buyers pay for used electronics and other goods. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Your name and email address, from the sign-up form or from Google, Apple or Facebook when you sign in with them.
• Your password, stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never see or store the password itself.
• Your ZIP code and search radius, so local deal searches look near you. If you tap "Use my location", your browser's coordinates are used once to find the nearest ZIP. They are not stored.
• Your approximate location: the city, region and country that your IP address points to, looked up when you sign up and when you use BuyLow AI. The lookup uses an offline database and we don't keep the IP address itself. This is never GPS, and we never ask your device for your precise location for it.
• Your lookups: links, screenshots and items you price, and the quotes returned. We keep them so you can reopen them in History.
• Your order history, saved deals, settings and any accounts you connect in the app.
• Website visits: the pages you open, the referring site, your device type and your approximate city (from your IP, which we don't keep), tied to a random visitor ID that your browser keeps in its own storage on this device. We use this to count visits and see which pages work. If you are signed in, or later sign up or sign in on the same browser, we link that browser's visits to your account so we can see them alongside it. If you never sign in, your visits stay anonymous. We don't fingerprint devices and we never buy, guess or look up email addresses. Known bots are not logged.
• Price-alert signups: if you type your email into a “Get price alerts” form and tick the box, we store that email, when and where on the site you signed up, the consent text you agreed to, and your visitor ID (and your account, if you later sign in on that browser). We use it only to send you price alerts and deal picks. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them right away.

How we use it

We use this information only to run BuyLow AI: signing you in, pricing items, showing your history and deals, and contacting you about your account (for example, a password reset link). To price an item we send its details, such as the model, storage and condition, to buyback and resale sites. We don't send your name or email with them.

To read screenshots, listing photos, listing text and to word seller messages you ask the AI to draft, we send that content (not your name or email) to Google's Gemini API. If Gemini is unavailable we may send it to OpenAI or Anthropic instead. These providers process it under their own API terms.

We store your account email and your approximate, city-level location from your IP address for analytics (for example, which cities BuyLow AI is used in and where sign-ups come from) and for security (for example, noticing a sign-in from an unusual place). Only BuyLow AI's owners can see it.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell or rent your personal information, including your email and location, and we don't share it with advertisers. We only share it with services that run the app for us, such as hosting, email delivery and the sign-in provider you choose, and only as far as they need it to do that.

How long we keep it

Visit logs are kept like your other analytics data, until you ask us to delete them. A price-alert signup is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; after you unsubscribe we keep only the email and the unsubscribe date so we don't email you again.

Cached quotes and lookup history are deleted automatically after 60 days. Your account details, approximate location and order history are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Deleting your data

To delete your account and data, email karwanatta1@gmail.com from the address on your account. We'll delete it and confirm by email. This also covers data from Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sign-in sessions use signed cookies, and the site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.

Children

BuyLow AI is not meant for anyone under 18.
